NobleID (Person) is a privacy-preserving person identifier. It lets authors claim works, invite co-author attestations, and receive institutional affiliation attestations (via ROR). ORCID can be linked, but isn't required.

What you get

Your NobleID (Person)

A NobleID (Person) like NB9575041P, optional public profile, ability to claim works, link ORCID, and (opt-in) show a Tip button powered by a privacy-preserving receive address.

Privacy default

Wallet/tip functionality is off unless you enable it. Your financial privacy is protected by default.

Display format

Show as 'NobleID (Person): NB9575041P' near the author name.

Example: Dr. Maria Santos, NobleID (Person): NB9575041P

Readers see who stands behind a work.

Less spoofing

Claims are verified by co-authors and institutions.

Disputes & banners

If a claim is challenged, the resolver shows a Disputed banner. Evidence is reviewed quickly; if monetization is enabled later, payouts are paused until resolution. Outcomes and an audit line remain visible.
