How NobleID Works
Mint → Resolve → Update → Verify. See the flow end-to-end.
1
Mint
Paste metadata, import an existing DOI (optional), or upload files.
Output: a root ID and v1 version.
2
Resolve
Your durable URL always points to the latest version. Every past version stays citable.
Content negotiation: HTML for humans, JSON/XML for machines.
3
Update
Publish v2, v3… The Update-Checker badge tells readers if they're viewing the latest.
4
Verify (knowledge proof)
Each version emits a signed integrity receipt (JWS) with hashes and storage pointers.
We mirror metadata to a decentralized layer and run nightly fixity checks.
